For the last few weeks I've been ripping VHS and building DVDs for HELL. I think I'd build a couple compilation discs like I did for Oni, but this time actually burn them to DVD instead of trying to run from laptop/hard drive.

Looking for a way to get a 3d model of the 2oth Century Fox logo to alter for the opening seconds of the stVSsb animation. Of course I want to change it to Anime Hell .org or something like that. I found a couple of models made in Google SketchUp. Unfortunately I've never used SketchUp. So, that's something else I need to get and learn. Woof.

I'm not sure why, but the comics aren't showing up on the ComicPress page. Crud. Well, it looks like it will work, but not the way I thought it would. I'm obviously not doing this right. I can see right now the biggest problem I'm gonna have with this it I'm just not as familiar with WordPress as I am with Blogger. In fact I'm very confused by the WordPress CSS, I'm even sure where to start to change the colors or add the HNK graphics and logo. Grrr. I suck.

Meanwhile, much inking on pages. I'll finish this up tonight and then get to work on the ahVSsb animation. Much to do, much much to work on.

I think I'll do the lettering on a separate page and composite it in Inkscape, tone it up and output the PDF for publication. Job done! Next!

Spent much time drawing pages for HNK while the weather was wonderful outside. And while I wish I could've spent more time outside I had some really good pages by Sunday night's meeting. And as long as I can hold out, there will be more good pages. Man, this is gonna be a really good book. I guess I need to work on my work habits some more, spend more time at the ink pot every day. I'd get a lot more good pages that way.

I've been thinking about setting up the CoimcPress WordPress webcomic theme for the HNK deal. I'll bring it up at the meet next Sunday.

HNK Deadline

Right now pretty much all my evenings are devoted to working on the HNK pages. Deadline is Sunday. And other then losing a page to an ink spill I'm doing some good stuff. I may rework a few pages if I have the time.

Once I get this done It's back to the ahVSsb animation. Feeling pretty good about that.

Of course as I work on the HNK pages I keep coming up with gags for the ahVSsb animation. Maybe if I work on the ahVSab animation I'll come up with more material for the HNK project. Hmmm. Or else my mind will go completely off the track and I'll start thinking about clips I want to show at AnimeHELL. I've lost the plot.

I'd really like to go back and finish that introduction that I was writing for the HNK book. I'm ruminate on that one while I'm abusing the ink.

No worries, It'll all come together in the end.
